Role Focus We are seeking a senior industry leader with a demonstrated track record in: Structuring and executing strategic partnerships with large pharma and biotech Licensing, co-development, and commercialization agreements Building long-term alliances that drive enterprise and shareholder value Supporting business development strategy and deal execution Ideal Background Former Head / VP / SVP of Business Development or Corporate Strategy at a major pharma or biotech company Proven experience in multi-million or billion-dollar licensing / co-development deals Deep network across Big Pharma, biotech, and strategic partners Experience supporting partnering discussions, diligence, and negotiations at the Board or executive level Current Board Composition Aphios, a clinical-stage biotechnology company with three Board members, is expanding governance capabilities to support: Commercial and strategic partnership expertise Capital formation and investor engagement Public-market readiness Why This Role Matters This Director will play a key role in: Shaping strategic partnerships with major pharmaceutical companies Supporting licensing and co-development transactions Enhancing investor confidence and strategic positioning Contributing to IPO-stage value creation Compensation Equity-based compensation only (no cash) Structured for long-term value creation aligned with IPO trajectory To Express Interest
