Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Strategic Sourcing Specialist Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. $20/hr+ DOE Aventure Staffing is seeking a proactive and solutions-focused Strategic Sourcing Specialist to drive talent acquisition and pipeline development across our regional branches. You will partner with leadership to anticipate hiring needs, execute targeted sourcing strategies, and identify top-tier candidates. This is a high-impact position focused on strengthening our bench, reducing time-to-fill, and giving our branches a decisive competitive advantage in the market. This role can be based out of our Sheldon, Iowa or Cherokee, Iowa branch office and will support branches in Sheldon, IA; Cherokee, IA; Fairmont, MN and Norfolk, NE.

Responsibilities of Business Development:

Strategic Sourcing:

Proactively identify and engage qualified talent across four branch locations using job boards, social media, and networking events. •

Talent Pipeline Management:

Build and maintain high-quality candidate pools (benches) to ensure a steady flow of talent for current and future client needs. •

Collaborative Partnership:

Work closely with Branch Managers and Business Development teams to forecast hiring trends and align sourcing strategies with client requirements. •

Candidate Qualification:

Pre-screen and vet candidates to ensure a strong fit for technical skills, experience, and company culture. •

Data & Compliance:

Maintain real-time candidate records and activity tracking in the internal database while ensuring all hiring practices meet HR and compliance standards. •

Market Engagement:

Participate in community events and site visits to better understand job environments and expand the local talent network.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required, plus relevant experience. Proficient in basic computer skills including MS Office, internet and email usage. Effective written and verbal communication skills that show professionalism and competence. Able to identify and solve issues, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Practice a high level of confidentiality and apply discretion and sound judgment in issue resolution. Negotiate, instruct, and speak to others without exhibiting behavioral extremes. Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record that is insurable by Aventure.
