Full-time About the Role We are seeking a dedicated, professional Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team. This role is for someone who views coaching as a craft and is passionate about helping people from all walks of life—whether they are athletes looking for a competitive edge, kids building a foundation for a healthy life, or members of the general public working toward life-changing fitness goals. At our facility, we pride ourselves on diverse, goal-oriented programming. You will be responsible for delivering this programming with excellence, ensuring that every person who walks through our doors receives the coaching and attention they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities Diverse Population Coaching:
Lead and scale workouts for a variety of demographics, including youth athletes, competitive adults, and the general public.
Class Leadership:
Manage group sessions with a focus on movement quality, safety, and a high-energy environment.
Goal-Oriented Support:
Help members navigate their individual fitness journeys by providing technical cues and lifestyle guidance that aligns with their specific objectives.
Program Execution:
Deliver diverse strength and conditioning protocols (including varied modalities and energy systems) with a deep understanding of the intent behind the workout.
Community Engagement:
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where every member feels like part of the team. What We Are Looking For The "Practitioner"
Edge:
We strongly prefer candidates who are currently training toward a specific goal or competing in a sport (e.g., Olympic lifting, powerlifting, endurance sports, or any other sport). We believe that personal experience with the rigors of the training process makes for a more empathetic and effective coach.
Technical Proficiency:
A strong grasp of foundational movements, including squats, presses, and Olympic lifts, and the ability to teach them to beginners and advanced athletes alike. Mastery not required but the ability and willingness to learn is.
Adaptability:
The ability to pivot coaching styles based on the population in front of you. Meet people at their level with a good mix of accountability and support
Communication:
Clear, concise, and professional communication skills.
Qualifications Certification:
Nationally recognized accredited certification (e.g., CF-L1/L2, NSCA-CSCS, NASM, ACSM, or similar).
Experience:
Previous experience coaching in a group or individual strength and conditioning setting.
Passion:
