Strong Technical Dance Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and the ability to engage students of all ages, from preschoolers to adults. Strong technical and competitive dance background. Ability to teach jazz and ballet technique specifically to build our competitive program. This role involves creating a positive learning environment, developing lesson plans, and fostering a love for dance among students. The Dance Instructor will play a key role in nurturing talent and promoting artistic expression through movement. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Teach various dance styles, ensuring students understand techniques, rhythms, and choreography. Create a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Organize and participate in performances, recitals, or showcases to highlight student achievements. Maintain a safe and clean studio environment for all participants. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall dance program. Skills Strong knowledge of dance techniques across multiple styles. Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development. Background in preschool education or childhood development is preferred. Ability to work with special education students is a plus. Skills in adult education or tutoring can enhance teaching effectiveness. Creative skills such as photography or theater can add value to the instructional approach. Experience in childcare or cooking may be beneficial for creating inclusive class environments.
