  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection Project Manager to lead and oversee complex steel construction projects from inception to completion.
In this role, you will coordinate all phases of steel fabrication and erection, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and technical schematics will drive project success while fostering collaboration among teams, clients, and subcontractors. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to manage large-scale steel projects with precision and enthusiasm. Duties Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of structural steel fabrication and erection projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets. Develop detailed project plans using construction management software, integrating timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates. Oversee the review of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation for fabrication and installation processes. Manage procurement activities by working closely with suppliers and subcontractors to secure materials like Structural Steel components while maintaining quality standards. Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations. Facilitate effective communication among project teams through regular meetings, progress reports, and coordination efforts using tools like ProCore and Bluebeam. Track project progress through detailed scheduling, adjusting plans proactively to mitigate delays or issues that may arise during fabrication or erection phases. Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a focus on structural steel fabrication and erection projects. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, and project management principles. Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, Autodesk, & Trimble. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Hands-on experience with construction site operations and safety protocols in steel erection environments. Excellent skills in contract management, time management, and project coordination across multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with relevant industry standards for steel fabrication and erection processes.
