Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator / Welder to join our team. This is a full-time, day shift job with benefits based in Weldon, NC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with structural steel, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, a strong focus on quality and safety, and be a team player.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication and welding (MIG, Stick) Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols Ability to read, write legibly, perform mathematical calculations, accurately use tape measure Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, measuring, and layout Work independently to set up and operate welding machine Ability to perform different welds in various positions that meet weld specifications Must be able to pass written and onsite welding tests Understand and use fillet weld gages properly Proficiency with hand and power tools, including cutting torches and grinders Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts preferred Strong commitment to teamwork and safety Following company safety policies and procedures Maintain clean and safe work area Be punctual and present for full shift, working productively and efficiently
