07/01/2025 SUMMARY Keeps schools, gyms, offices, and work areas in clean, safe, and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space. 2. Empties trash and garbage containers. 3. Dusts, washes, and sanitizes cabinets, desks, etc.; dusts all shelves. 4. Fills paper towel and toilet paper dispensers. 5. Keeps all walls clean including bathroom stalls and mirrors; washes all doors, both inside and outside and keeps inside entrance ways clean. 6. Washes and disinfects all toilet bowls, sinks, and water fountains. 7. Keeps all areas around light fixtures clean. 8. Keeps all custodial rooms neat and clean. 9. Keeps paper supplies, garbage supplies, and cleaning solutions locked at all times. 10. Notifies supervisor concerning need for repairs or problems.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and one to six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and with other employees. 3. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. 4.
