As a management trainee, students learn how to apply educional concepts to real-world situions, as they discover another potential career ph and complete university requirements to earn their degree. Student efforts directly impact the quality of life of the Navy community, working side-by-side with employees to cree and deliver programs, services and experiences for active-duty service members, their families and other eligible customers. Incumbent is assigned to assist in the operion of a specific FFR activity, e.g.; Outdoor Recreion, Single Sailor Program, Sports and Fitness, Food & Entertainment, Community Recreion. Typical assignment may include planning, scheduling and publicizing of events, applying rules and regulions in supervising indoor and outdoor activities, setting up venues, scheduling and conducting tours and field trips. Qualificions As many Navy FFR interns are interested in exploring career opportunities with us, we are looking for the Navy Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) professional of the future. Eligible candides are mure, independent and good role models for others, whether on duty or not. In order to be considered for an internship, you must meet the following criteria: Current enrollment in an undergradue or gradue level degree program reled to a Navy Fleet and Family Readiness program or operional function (i.e., recreion, hospitality, fitness/exercise science, sport management, culinary arts, marketing, IT). Must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA (in major program area of study) of least 2.5. Applicant must be a United Stes citizen. Applicant will have completed least four semesters of college classes before beginning the internship. Must meet federal health and safety protocols prior to assignment. Educion Current enrollment in a high school diploma program or General Educion Diploma(GED) certifice program. OR Current enrollment in an undergradue or gradue level degree program reled to a Navy Fleet and Family Readiness program or operional function (i.e., recreion, hospitality, fitness/exercise science, sport management, culinary arts, marketing, IT).
