5-7 Months (Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily substation construction activities Supervise installation of foundations, conduit systems, and high-voltage equipment (138kV-161kV) Oversee grounding systems, bus work, and station service installations Ensure work aligns with project specs, drawings, and safety standards Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance Coordinate with project leadership and maintain field reports

Requirements:

5+ years of substation construction experience Experience working in high-voltage (138kV+) substations Proven ability to lead crews in energized environments Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Preferred:

OSHA 30 Certification Electrical License or NCCER certification Sher Contracting participates in E-Verify ; drug/background screenings required. Education & Credentials Active Journeyman Electrician license

Preferred:

OSHA-30 , NFPA 70E
