Substitute Teacher

Report to assigned school and classroom at the designated time. Follow lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher. Maintain a safe, orderly, and productive classroom environment. Take attendance and maintain accurate records as required. Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, recess, assemblies, and other school-related settings. Maintain discipline in accordance with district policies and school procedures. Adapt instructional methods to meet the needs of students when appropriate. Communicate effectively with school staff regarding classroom activities and student behavior. Leave a written summary for the regular teacher regarding work completed, student conduct, and any concerns. Protect the confidentiality of student information in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations. Follow all district policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or designee.
