Kingman School is a student-centered school focused on student progress, both academically and functionally, communication, and community! Join us in making a difference in the lives of our children! This intermittent position provides direct support for identified special education students as determined by each pupils Individual Education Program (JEP). This is paraprofessional support work in either assisting teachers with routine matters such as classroom preparation, playground, and cafeteria! supervision, and providing assistance to students in completing supplemental work or providing direct one-to-one care as determined by each student'sIEP. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Carries out classroom curriculum/daily lesson plans as outlined by regular teacher. Maintains discipline in the classroom. Assumes out-of-classroom duties as assigned by the principal (such as playground duty). Reacts to poor behavior in a fair and constructive manner. Teaches and reinforces good manners in the classroom. Documents all serious behavioral disturbances to the building principal. Grades, records, and returns subject area tests.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A two (2) year combination of professional education, training, and/or experience in education or related field.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
