Custodian Custodian:

Job duties include lawn care, building care, and maintenance. Building responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Sweeping, mopping, trash removal, buffing, vacuuming where necessary, changing air filters, furniture setup and removal, disinfecting restrooms (daily or more often as needed) and cleaning other areas as needed/assigned. Lawn care duties involve keeping the lawns/grounds neat and clean. Must be able to operate and maintain mower, weed eater, clippers, etc. Additional duties may be assigned by the principal. Reports to Principal Duty Days - 207 Salary - According to the WCBOE Salary Schedule and number of years of experience with the WCBOE. (The salary listed does not reflect the 2% raise for the 2026-27 school year) •Applicants selected for certified positions must have undergone an ABI/FBI criminal history background check (fingerprinting administered through sites selected and approved by the WCBOE and State of Alabama Education Department) and been declared suitable and fit to teach under state law.
