Job Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Camp Counselors to join our team for a rewarding summer experience working with children. Camp Counselors play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for campers to thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage campers in various activities and games
• Implement planned programs and activities to promote camper growth and development
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
• Provide guidance, support, and positive reinforcement to campers
• Assist in resolving conflicts
• Collaborate with fellow counselors and teaching staff to create a positive camp experience
• Maintain a clean and organized camp environment

Qualifications:

• Over the age of 18.
• Previous experience in daycare or working with children between the ages of 2.5
• 6 preferred.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques
• First aid certification is a plus
• Background in early childhood education or childcare is beneficial
• Ability to educate and mentor campers effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with campers, parents, and colleagues
