Summer Camp Counselor- Camp CFP

Duties Supervise and engage children in camp activities, ensuring safety and enjoyment at all times Implement age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, sports, theater performances, and educational lessons Manage behavior and promote positive social interactions among campers Assist with daily routines such as mealtime supervision, rest periods, and transitions between activities Provide first aid when necessary and follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure environment Support campers with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized attention Maintain all YMCA standards, values, and rules

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age Must be available to work 20-40 hours per week Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills Must have the ability to act with professional discretion Must have ability to lead others

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds Must be able to move in a fast-paced environment Must be able to endure a loud environment occasionally
