About Us:

Seeds Academy is looking for a responsible and caring English & Math teacher to join our summer camp team. Our summer program serves elementary and middle school students and focuses on helping students build strong academic skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Position Overview:

We are hiring a summer camp teacher to teach English and Math in the mornings from Monday to Friday. The teacher will prepare lessons, guide students through practice work, and help create a positive learning experience for students during summer camp.

Responsibilities:

Teach English and Math lessons to students during morning camp hours Prepare age-appropriate class materials and activities Help students improve reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and math skills Support students with different learning levels Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment Communicate with staff about student progress and classroom needs

Requirements:

Experience teaching or tutoring English and/or Math Enjoys working with children Responsible, patient, and organized Able to work Monday to Friday mornings from June 8 to July 31 Teaching credential is a plus, but not required Experience with elementary or middle school students preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

College degree or current college student in education, English, Math, or related field Previous classroom, tutoring, after-school, or summer camp experience Bilingual English/Chinese is a plus, but not required

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 9am-12pm June 8•July 31

Pay:

$25.00•$30.00 per hour
