This position is ideal for individuals interesting in pursuing a career in speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, special education or behavioral psychology as it will provide experience in working with diverse populations.

Job Duties Include:

Daily supervision of classroom of children and young adults of varying abilities. Implementing classroom instruction, communication systems therapeutic instruction on a daily basis. Creating a healthy classroom environment by providing recreational, health, emotional and therapeutic support for children and young adults in program. Assisting students in daily care as needed.

Quality Candidates Will :

Have a desire to work with children and young adults with special needs. Have the ability to actively participate in the classroom. Be inquisitive with the desire to help the children and young adults in the program work toward their goals. Be able to communicate in a professional manner with diverse personalities. Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Be at least 18 years old. Be able to submit a positive criminal records check.
