Summer Nurse:

Camp Sonshine is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) or a qualified individual with BLS and Medication Authorization certifications to join our award-winning, county- and state-licensed Christian day camp in Maryland. The position is primarily based in Silver Spring, MD (on camp grounds). This is a leadership position that is responsible for the care and well-being of campers (average of 500/week) aged 3-16 who participate in day camp programs throughout the summer. Compensation starts at $25 per hour, depending on your certifications and previous experience.

Core Responsibilities:

First aid care for campers & staff (average of 500 campers/week) Administer medications to campers Coordinate visits to physician when needed Monitor health and cleanliness standards Organize paperwork & maintain filing system

Requirements:

RN (Preferred) Bachelor's (Preferred)

Nursing:

1 year (Preferred) BLS Certification (Preferred) First-Aid, CPR, AED certified (Required) Medication Authorization certified (Required) Successfully pass a criminal background and sex-offender registry check Excitement to learn, grow, and work hard!
