Position Summary:

Camp nurses are responsible for providing exceptional care to our entire camp community: Follow health care protocols as described in the Healthcare Policy & Procedure Manual. Participate in screening all campers for health assessment on arrival day. Distribute medication to campers. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records according to state and American Camping Association standards. Prepare and utilize daily medical log for treatment and medications. Prepare and distribute first-aid kits throughout camp and for out of camp trips. Communicate with camper parents, as directed.

Position Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Experience working with children and youth Ability to make decisions and take imitative under pressure, while remaining cool, calm and collected. Excellent communication skills 21 years of age or older This is a full time, seasonal, residential position from on or about June 7

• August 5, with room and board provided .

Partial summer contracts may be available. Camp tuition for camp age children (or childcare for younger children) may be available as part of a contract.
