Summer Camp Photographer - Chesapeake Bay (Room & Board Included)

Spend your summer capturing the moments that campers and their families will treasure for a lifetime - kids flying down a zipline, learning to waterski, sailing across the Chesapeake Bay, conquering the high ropes course, campfires and so much more! Sandy Hill Camp and Retreat Center, on 211 scenic waterfront acres in North East, Maryland, is hiring photographers for summer 2026. You'll be part of a media team documenting the camp experience for 8-16 year old campers across our residential summer camp program. What you'll do: Shoot daily camp life - activities, candid moments, group shots - across the property and waterfront Edit photos in Lightroom for our parent-facing photo galleries (Optional) Teach beginning photography classes to our campers What we're looking for: A genuine love of photography and being around children and teenagers Experience with Lightroom (or willingness to learn quickly) Your own DSLR or mirrorless body preferred; we can discuss Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude Must be 17+ Things to know: Residential staff live on-site from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon with most weekends off. Room and board are provided. Day positions available for local candidates Most staff work early June through mid-August . Sandy Hill is a smoke-free, drug-free, and values-centered environment.
