Job Description
Camp Counselor:
Summer Camp Program Manager (must be 18+ years old) work to support a program with a specific age-range of campers throughout the summer. This position can often vary because of our campers' range of ages, which starts at age four to 16 years old.Who We Are:
Camp Sonshine is an award-winning, county, and state licensed Christian day camp in Maryland. We provide both summer day camp and year-round programming such as Before And After School Care, for school-aged children in Montgomery County. Our programs are tailored to meet the developmental needs of each age group that we serve. Provide support and leadership to Head Counselors and Group Counselors in your selected Camp Program Ensure staff are providing exemplary care to their group of campers for both safety and a positive experience Provide administrative support to Camp Program (organizing/distributing camper files, health information, registration information/payment to outside camp venues for field trips, etc) Be a strong, positive role model to campers and staff members Help to lead all-camp programsRequirements:
At least 18 years old Successfully pass a criminal background and sex-offender registry checkChildcare:
1 year (Preferred) First Aid Certification (Preferred) CPR Certification (Preferred) Work authorization (Required) Excitement to learn, grow, and work hard!Job Types:
