Clinical Support Aide (Seasonal Student Role) Job Summary The Clinical Support Aide (CSA) supports the staff and daily operations of Prevea clinics. This seasonal position is designed for students pursuing a clinical healthcare career and is intended for employment during summer and winter academic breaks only. Under direct supervision, the CSA performs patient rooming, collects and documents vital signs, and maintains clinic rooms and supplies in accordance with infection control standards. Based on training, the CSA may also assist providers with procedures and exams. This role is open to students at various stages of their clinical education who are actively enrolled in a healthcare program and seeking hands-on experience in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities may vary based on the candidate's level of education, clinical training, and demonstrated competencies. Room patients, perform and document vital signs, and prepare patients for visits Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supply levels according to infection control standards Assist providers with procedures and exams as trained Perform EKGs after completing department-specific training Schedule non-complex hospital tests, procedures, or office visits Check and document refrigerator temperatures upon completion of required training Perform disinfection and sterilization of instruments (including autoclave use) Complete daily crash cart checks and department opening/closing checklists Education Qualifications (Flexible to Meet Multiple Pathways) Must be a student currently attending school for a clinical healthcare profession , and meet one of the following: Enrolled in and completed at least one semester of a clinical program , OR Enrolled in the first semester of a clinical program, OR Completed a clinical program but not yet licensed/certified, OR Have relevant healthcare training or credentials in basic clinical skills (e.g., vital signs, patient positioning) If hired candidates hold an active clinical credential or license , their job title and responsibilities may be adjusted to align with their qualifications. Required Experience Experience in a healthcare setting preferred Preferred Skills and Abilities Knowledge of safety hazards and infection control practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment Ability to work under pressure and in high-energy situations Effective problem-solving skills Basic proficiency with computers, phones, and office equipment Licenses and Certifications CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers (required upon hire) Position Located In Green Bay,WI
