Each piece is thoughtfully designed and produced in New York City, reflecting the brand's commitment to exceptional craftsmanship within the New York Garment Center. Role Description Markarian is seeking a motivated Spring 2026 Production Intern to join our team on site in the New York City area. This internship provides hands-on experience in fashion production and day-to-day studio operations. The intern will support the production team with organizational tasks, preparation of materials, quality checks, and communication across departments to help ensure smooth workflow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning about luxury garment production in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist with production planning tasks, including organizing materials, preparing production sheets, and tracking workflow Support quality control efforts by helping review garments, trims, and samples under team supervision Help maintain production organization, including inventory, documentation, and studio upkeep Assist team members with communication, scheduling, and preparation for internal training or workflow sessions Provide general support to the production management team as needed Assist with collection and production fabrication and trim sourcing and organization Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Interest in fashion, apparel production, or luxury womenswear Proactive attitude and willingness to learn hands-on studio processes Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant fashion or production program is a plus Compensation Academic Credit Available; Unpaid internship compliant with all state and federal guidelines
