Job Description
Description Summer Feeding Program Meal Preparation Coordinator The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Assistant supports the Meal Production Coordinator in the daily administrative and operational functions of the free meals program serving youth and teens (18 and under) across selected locations in Knox and Laurel Counties. Hours for this position will be between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM and will require up to 39 hours per week.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred but not required A valid Kentucky driver's license with a verifiable good driving record Must be at least 18 years of ageEssential Functions and Responsibilities:
Follow all state traffic laws and regulations Counting, loading and unloading meals on delivery vehicle at designated pick up/drop off sites Delivery of meals to assigned SFSP site locations, prompt and safely Ensure the safety of food complying with state and local health and safety standards Account for the accuracy of delivered meals with site supervisor Return vehicle to designated location and log mileage on designated form Organization of gas/food receipts, timesheets, and any other paperwork required Other duties as assignedPerformance Factors/Job Competencies:
Strong time management skills and work ethic Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent collaborative and people skills to interact with all SFSP personnel Must be flexible in tasks and routesWork Environment:
This job operates in indoor and outdoor public locations. Incumbents must be able to sit in a vehicle and stand/lift for extended periods of time. This role routinely drives a delivery vehicle and collaborates with other SFSP personnel. This position requires traveling primarily within designated counties. Candidates are required to have a valid driver's license to attend job related duties.Physical Demands:
