Job Description

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Custodial/Maintenance team as a Summer Maintenance Help. This position is a temporary seasonal position that offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in facility maintenance and custodial services while contributing to the upkeep and cleanliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in various facilities, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Assist with landscaping and outdoor maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
  • Help with minor repairs and maintenance of equipment and facilities as directed.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Support the team in setting up and taking down equipment for events and activities.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service. Requirements
  • Must be 16 years old.
  • Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools.
  • Availability to work full-time during the summer months, including weekends if necessary.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for certain tasks.
