POSITION SUMMARY

Performs grounds maintenance services by mowing and edging lawns and fields throughout the school district.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Basic preparation needed for mowing (moving equipment, filling holes, removing trash, etc) Keeping lawns and other facilities mowed and in a neat and clean appearance General upkeep of lawn mowing equipment Exercise knowledge of proper safety techniques, including, but not limited to: wearing proper personal protective equipment, handling of materials, lifting techniques, use of all equipment Ensure quality work through effective monitoring of grounds appearance Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Lawn mowing experience (commercial preferred) Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work Eye for detail Must be 18 year or older
