- Date TBD Job Summary Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Director of Expanded Learning Programs or designee, the Expanded Learning Educator develops, implements and facilitates lessons and activities aligned with the Extended Learning Program and the LUSD goals that support the academic success and the social/emotional development of all program students.
Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Minimum of 48 college units or pass the District's proficiency test in reading, writing and math.
- Knowledge of basic subjects taught in District schools, including arithmetic, grammar, spelling, language and reading.
- Usage of correct English, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary.
- Able to perform routine clerical and record keeping tasks and operate a variety of educational and office related machines and equipment. Reading and writing communication skills; able to follow oral and written instructions. Able to demonstrate an understanding, patient and receptive attitude toward students of varied age groups and ethnic background.
