Anticipated Position Start Date:

7/8/26 The following position is anticipated for the Grades 6-12 summer school program. The position is contingent on student enrollment and instructional needs. HS Earth Science Teacher Preference will be given to individuals holding a current NYS teacher certification in the subject and level(s) of area to be taught. Preference will be given to current Indian River employees and will follow the terms of the IREA contract Appendix C. One session of summer school classes will be offered four (4) days per week from July 9th through August 13th, with all classes held at the Indian River Middle School. The student day will run from 7:15 AM-11:45 PM. The teacher day will run from 7:15 AM to 11:55. Mandatory teacher orientation will take place on Wednesday, July 8th at 10:00 AM•12:00 PM.
