293382792 Job Description Litter Crew-Summer Temporary•This work is responsible for the removal of roadside litter on county roads. Work will be performed at various locations throughout Whitman County, but employees will report to the Whitman County Solid Waste Transfer Station on Carothers Road. Ability to walk 3-10 miles per day. Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Perform duties in a safe manner and wear required safety equipment. Provide your own work boots. Gather and carry bags of trash. Work alongside moving traffic. Work in dirty environment (pollen, insects, rodents).

Wage:

$18.00/hr.

Temporary benefits include:

Temporary employees working 80 or more hours per month qualify for employer paid medical, dental and vision. Sick leave accrual 1hr for every 40hrs worked and 24K basic life insurance.
