Description:
The SUN Meals Program Associate is responsible for packing and distributing nutritious summer meal kits to eligible children, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This role requires following state and local food safety protocols and working closely with supervisors to ensure the success of the program. Positions Details; Dates will vary, but will be generally week of June 1 through week of August 17 Hours will generally be 8 to 25 hours per week on weekdays and generally daytime hoursEssential Functions:
Pack grocery bags with food items that meet USDA guidelines Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work areas Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with food storage and inventory management Record food temperatures and maintain accurate records Help move grocery bags from the kitchen to the pick-up area Report equipment issues and low supplies to supervisorsRequirements:
