Supervisor

Job Purpose:

Overall daily operation of the cafe; responsible for overseeing and leading staff in a positive environment with emphasis on guest satisfaction. Ensuring all customers receive a 5 star service. Providing leadership, motivation, support, and development of team members. Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Cleanliness and Sanitation:

Ensuring all cleaning is done daily, weekly, and monthly. Delegate and give cleaning tasks to team members. Customer Service; Training staff on the sequence of service, visit tables and encourage staff to get feedback, constant presence on the floor, train staff how to make clearing plates a habit.

Managing personnel:

Communicate all conflicts or feedback to the manager and communicate effectively between BOH and FOH. Controlling restaurant costs; reduce food wastage, minimize over-ordering items that have short shelf lives, reduce labor costs, send staff home when slow, share and create upselling strategies. Maintaining inventory; tracking and checking all around inventory. Cash handling; closing till, replenishing change if needed. Ensuring the closing tasks are done by staff daily; double check if everything has been stocked up and cleaned for next day's operation. Following company's policies and procedures. Flexibility working within other Harvest locations.

Requirments:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers. - Proficient in time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
