59 JOB SUMMARY The Supervisor Physical Security Operations is a first-line leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities of a team within Enterprise Security. They are responsible for ensuring personnel, processes, and controls effectively protect the Company's people, assets, systems, and processes. This role leads and develops front-line security staff, coordinates incident response and preventative activities, and ensures operational execution aligns with enterprise risk, compliance, and resilience objectives. Also responsible for providing supervision of Security members to ensure an efficient and cost effective security operation and to implement a security program that responds to business needs while protecting Company assets and members.LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
Supervises daily activities of team. Sets priorities to accomplish task or process completion. Decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan. Typically does not perform same work as subordinates.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Remain current with continual development of security threats in the world at large, security software and IT systems as they become available in the market to include evaluating security implications of new technologies and applications as they are considered by the company. Evaluate security requirements to make sure they are appropriately architected, designed, and implemented. Supervise and actively participate in the planning and implementation of security controls for OG&E projects as needed. Assure that Company members and property are protected against a variety of risks and vulnerabilities by ensuring security presence is maintained at specified locations 24 hours a day. Responsible for the evaluation and recommendation of security applications and systems. Ensure the execution of the Company security program is proactively responsive to business needs and requirements. Provide recommendations and assist in the implementation of changes to work methods and procedures to ensure strong and effective security measures. Provide resolution to incidents involving extremely disgruntled customers, ex-members, or anyone who threatens harm to company property or members. Investigate security violations and breaches; prepare reports on intrusions as necessary. Conduct, direct and/or coordinate internal investigations of theft or fraud. Responsible for evaluating corporate security issues and recommending solutions to appropriately mitigate those issues according to industry norms. Lead/conduct security assessments to ensure adherence to company specific security policy, procedures and industry standards. Select and supervise outside protective services contractors and proprietary security guards. Represent the security needs of OGE by providing security expertise and assistance across OG&E projects as needed. Assist in updating, maintaining and documentation of security controls. Routinely prepare security related reports on various security issues. All other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree and 6 years of experience in security, technology or related field; Or High School Diploma/GED equivalent and 10 years of experience in security, technology, loss prevention or related field; and 3 years of experience of leading large projects or project teams.WORKING CONDITIONS
May be required to work non-standard work schedules. Occasional overnight travel required. Ability to work outside of normal workday/workweek to meet deadlines.SPECIAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
