The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for assisting with mfg. orders, purchase orders and reports.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Getting quotes placing POs, following with vendors. Assist with vendor set up. Procure goods and services, including MRO, raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, etc. Assist in preparation of orders for manufacturing release. Review delivery dates for accuracy and any past due dates. Customer Support side. Use ERP to assist in reports for POs, Mfg. orders and inventory accuracy. Maintain report of open work orders and ensure they are closed in a timely manner. Provide estimated date of completion of sales order via ERP system. Maintain data integrity and process flow. Inventory management (review data for accuracy, physical counts). Manage calibration log. Manage incoming shipments from EH.Aptitudes and Abilities:
Must be a motivated self-starter that can operate under minimal supervision and consistently deliver results. Must display exemplary leadership abilities and have a high emotional intelligence. Must be able to communicate improvements and gain personal credibility by adhering to the process. Self-starter, able to work independently to deliver results. Must have strong customer service skills. Proven analytical capabilities, with a basic understanding of statistical analysis techniques. Attention to detail , thoroughness, dealing with complexity, and ability to analyze information.Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or related field from an accredited college or university. Completion of, or in progress of APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification, desired. Knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma Manufacturing process and methodologies a plus; as is a green or black belt certification. Basic understanding of inventory management and control.Experience:
Working knowledge of lean, six-sigma, and just-in-time processes, procedures, and reporting techniques. Conversational proficiency in Spanish and/or German language is a plus. Knowledge in ERP software such as SAP or Oracle and knowledge in SolidWorks and AutoCad is a plus. Read and interpret blueprint drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.Equal Opportunity Employment:
