Job Description

Summary :
Oversee and manage overall supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency, reduce risk, and minimize cost of organization's supply chain, work effectively with the plant and field operations teams, engineering, project management, and accounting to deliver on supply chain, sourcing, and delivery logistics outcomes. Provide support and mentor site level purchasing, warehousing, and delivery personnel as needed.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for production planning, forecasting, material procurement, inventory control, warehousing, rate setting, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution. Responsible for all delivery logistics of material orders and outgoing material deliveries of both vendor materials and Dutchland fabricated materials. Onboard and maintain relationships with hauling vendors for incoming and outgoing delivery logistics. Identify and lead strategic supplier or outsourcing efforts including identification, selection negotiations, contract process and implementation to meet all requirements for legal, safety, ethics, quality, delivery, costs, and cash. Manage costs and cash flow through pricing, term improvements, payment options, and freight. Develop and perform audit and review process of current suppliers for compliance to terms, conditions, performance and engagement standards, risk identification and mitigation. Lead inventory management processes to improve inventory turns and reduce excess & obsolete materials, prevent excess stock and backorders. Assure that departmental and support personnel are focused on continuous improvement of products and processes. Collaborate with multiple-functional managers and teams to implement proper sourcing practices and policies to support business needs and best practices. Support the Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction, and Project Management departments with supplier and/ or product data as needed. Become the point of development for inventory, purchasing, receiving, delivery / distribution practices, processes, reporting, and inquiries within the company's ERP system. Ongoing and continuous development within the functionality of the ERP system is expected. Serve as the primary back up for job duties when direct reports tasks and duties when they are out on a form of leave or PTO. Must have the ability to be reached in non-working hours and weekends as needed for emergency situations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities This position requires a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing) or equivalent. Candidates with significate experience in the disciplines defined above may be considered if they do not meet the degree requirements. Must have a minimum of three to five years of experience in production, construction, scheduling, logistics, and/or materials management role. Demonstrated experience with sourcing, supply chain management, manufacturing, and Construction procurement and delivery logistics. Effective communication skills Ability to lead a team and drive performance Ability to work effectively with cross departmental staff Solid understanding of the supply management and delivery logistics Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision Excellent analytical skills and decision-making abilities
