Full-time Position Description:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including stockroom (inventory management), logistics, and procurement. This role ensures efficient material flow, cost control, supplier performance, and on-time delivery to support operational and customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the stockroom, including inventory accuracy, storage optimization, and cycle counting programs. Manage procurement activities including sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery. Lead logistics operations including inbound/outbound shipments, freight management, and warehouse coordination. Monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance working capital and service levels. Implement and maintain ERP/MRP systems for planning and inventory control. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain functions using Lean principles. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and supplier performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and finance teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field OR 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or warehouse management OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processes. Proven leadership and team management experience. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and organizational abilities.
