Job Description

Overall Objective:
The Supply Chain Manager's objective is to plan and coordinate the relevant supply chain activities to satisfy customer demand and desired service level while achieving the company's target gross profit margin and inventory goals. The relevant supply chain activities include: Purchasing Production planning Quality management Inventory Management Vendor Billing Process Improvement Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Place purchase orders against known orders and to stock in many cases. Ensure high service levels to customers , facilitating responses to supply chain issues and time-sensitive Program opportunities. Handle daily communications with vendors . Actively manage relationships so each supplier understands Headwater's objectives and expectations. Support the Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain Managers with receiving and transferring inventory. Collaborates with Accounting to reconcile receipts with vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies , including soliciting missing invoices from vendors Assist Director of Supply Chain with various projects Identify opportunities in the following areas and drive continuous improvement : Increasing revenue Vendor Billing Accuracy Inventory Management Supply chain cost reduction Process Improvement Supports other Supply Team members , as needed.
