  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and Operating Room Registered Nurse (Circulator) to join our healthcare team.
Orthopedic experience, required! In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment. You will be responsible for assisting other healthcare professionals in the operating room to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Must have great attention to ability to move quickly, multi-task, and pay close attention to surgeon preferences. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in delivering effective care and maintaining accurate medical documentation. This is a brand new orthopedic surgery center with plenty of room for growth! Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed in the operating room while monitoring for effectiveness and side effects. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and address any concerns. Assist the surgical team in quickly and efficiently executing surgical cases. Be familiar with all AORN standards for sterility. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services. Orthopedic experience preferred. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. ACLS, BLS, Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
