SURGICAL SCRUB REGISTERED NURSE

Job description Surgical Scrub Registered Nurse Full Time - 72 hours per pay period Kossuth Regional Health Center is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Scrub Registered Nurse to join our dedicated surgical team. What You'll Do Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub and circulating nurse Maintain a sterile field and follow OR protocols Anticipate surgeon needs and provide instruments and supplies—perform and verify sponge, needle, and instrument counts Assess & respond to patient needs—both physical & psychosocial—before, during, and after surgical procedures Implement individualized care plans in accordance with hospital policies, Physician directives, and patient/family preferences Maintain accurate & timely documentation using electronic health records Participate in on-call rotation and team-based care

What We're Looking For Licensure:

Current RN license in the state of

Iowa Experience:

2+ years surgical or scrub experience preferred

Certifications:

BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and Mandatory Reporting Skills:

Strong communication & teamwork skills

Competency:

Ability to provide age-appropriate care in the operating room setting Selected applicant will be required to complete a drug test, immunizations, vaccinations, background check and other health tests.
