Job Description:
Facilitates and assists with the admission and discharge process of patients, including arranging and transporting patient and personal belongings and completing all necessary documentation. Cleans patients rooms and other assigned areas daily. Performs daily inventory to ensure clean linens and supplies are accurately stocked for distribution. Maintains carts and equipment in clean, working condition and stores them in the appropriate area when finished. Assists the OR team and environmental services with fulfilling room turnover responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care which addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety age-appropriate needs of the patient populations served within the department. Must have the ability to read, write, and understand English. Must be able to follow oral, written assignments and have full knowledge of basic environmental duties.
Education:
High School Grad or Equiv Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support•CPR Cert (BLS)

Pay Range:
