The Surgical Tech OR administers direct patient care and functions as a healthcare team member, performs skills and procedures under the direction of a registered nurse. Surgical Services includes procedures related to inpatient and outpatient surgery and endoscopy. Promotes the Medical Center's customer service philosophy. Participates in the shared-governance process and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Graduate of an approved school of Surgical Tech Program. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

A minimum of one year of experience in a surgical setting.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

Certified Surgical Technologist.
