Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into an engaging nursing environment where expertise in the operating room makes a difference every day. This contract role centers on supporting a dynamic thoracic and vascular team within a state-of-the-art, high-volume surgical suite. Embrace the challenge of diverse cases ranging from trauma to transplant, and work alongside exceptional surgical professionals in a Level 1 trauma setting.
Schedule & Hours:
12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (9:00 AM to 9:00 PM) Days vary based on unit needs (block scheduling not available) Late stay coverage may be required to meet patient care demands
Qualifications:
Active RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state (must be on file) Current, valid certification (documentation must be provided with application) At least 2 years of recent operating room nursing experience Demonstrated proficiency circulating and scrubbing in endovascular cases Thoracic/vascular experience is required Previous travel nursing experience Comfortable working with complex patient populations, including trauma/neuro and transplant Willingness to float between OR suites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert intraoperative support as part of a thoracic/vascular specialist team Circulate and scrub for a wide range of procedures: general, neuro, ortho, plastic, cardiothoracic, transplant, and more Collaborate closely within a 56-bed OR and 5-procedural suite environment Adapt to evolving patient and surgical needs in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma atmosphere Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold patient safety standards This is an incredible opportunity to advance your skills in a cutting-edge surgical setting and contribute to superior patient outcomes.
