Survey Helper

Surveyor's Helper / Rodman Job Description We are seeking a dependable and motivated Surveyor's Helper to assist our field survey crews on a variety of construction and land development projects. This position involves working outdoors daily and helping operate surveying equipment used for construction layout and staking. Responsibilities Assist in setting up and operating surveying equipment, including total stations and site levels Help perform construction staking and layout for: Roads Utilities Buildings Other construction projects Carry and maintain survey tools and equipment Place stakes, hubs, and markers as directed by the survey crew chief Record measurements and field notes accurately Maintain a safe and organized work environment Travel to project sites as needed Requirements Must be dependable and arrive on time every day Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift and carry survey equipment and materials Willingness to learn surveying methods and construction layout procedures Strong work ethic and positive attitude Valid driver's license preferred Prior construction or surveying experience is a plus, but not required Work Environment Outdoor field work on active construction sites Full-time position with regular weekday hours Opportunity for advancement within the surveying field Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, eager to learn, and capable of working as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.

Pay:
