Job Description
Required Experience:
Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, preparation of easement documents, legal descriptions, final plat preparation, construction staking Ability to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center for production activities. Ability to manage multiple tasks, support project coordination, and interact with other design services. Full use of Microsoft Office. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment that is in a growth mode. Preferred Experience An Associate Degree in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related area of study SIT Certification Land Development, both Commercial and Residential, and Public Infrastructure Projects Coordinating activities with office personnel, including surveying technicians and engineering staff Experience searching for/recovering Public Land Survey System monuments Ability to travel and remain on a project site or other Westwood office for extended periods (must have the capability of self-funding the total amount of expenses until reimbursement can be disbursed) Processing and drafting utilizing LiDAR point clouds and imagery TBC Scanning Module preferred MicroStation experience preferred Ability to utilize survey field equipment is preferred.
