Duties Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes with precision and artistry Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in all kitchen areas Select fresh ingredients and ensure proper storage to preserve quality and freshness Develop innovative sushi recipes and presentation techniques to enhance menu offerings Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service times and manage workflow efficiently Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure seamless operations Educate team members on sushi techniques, presentation, and ingredient handling when needed Skills Extensive culinary experience with a focus on sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine Strong knife skills and knowledge of traditional sushi techniques Ability to develop new recipes and creatively present dishes that wow guests Excellent classroom management skills for training junior staff or apprentices in sushi making Experience working with diverse teams in high-energy kitchen environments Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and ingredient sourcing Passion for culinary innovation, attention to detail, and commitment to quality craftsmanship Join us as a Sushi Chef and bring your vibrant culinary talents to life!
