Duties Assist with the preparation of sushi, including slicing fish, rolling sushi, and assembling ingredients with precision and care Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety standards Handle food ingredients safely, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed at all times Contribute to menu planning by suggesting innovative sushi combinations and presentation ideas Participate in food service activities, including plating dishes efficiently and serving customers when needed Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout all food preparation processes Support catering events by preparing sushi platters and assisting with setup and breakdown Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
