Job Description

System-wide ARI Reading Specialist Coach teachers in classrooms each day during reading instruction, equip teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to help K-3rd grade students achieve grade-level reading or above, working side-by-side with teachers to successfully implement lessons so that all students are reading on or above grade level, provide daily, targeted intervention to struggling K-3 graders, Collaborate with administrators and teachers to analyze and to utilize formative data that will inform instructional decisions/practices to change student performance trajectories, Implement district reading plans and the
Revised Alabama Course of Study:

Qualifications:
Valid Alabama Department of Education Teacher's Certificate, Multi-sensory Structured Language Education certification preferred, three years of successful reading and teaching experience preferred, two years of experience required, ARI training preferred, and agree to participate in all training as stipulated by the Alabama State Department of Education Thank you for your interest in employment with Etowah County Schools. Resume Valid Alabama teaching certificate or letter of completion from the university stating the application for certification has been submitted to the State Department of Education Official transcript from the university with degree posted.
