Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic aquatic team as a Swim Instructor and Deck Supervisor, where you'll play a vital role in fostering water safety, developing swimming skills, and creating an engaging environment for all ages. In this energetic position, you will lead swim lessons, supervise pool deck activities, and ensure a safe, positive experience for participants. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire confidence and promote healthy, active lifestyles through swimming and related sports. Extensive aquatics training is provided. Duties Lead engaging swim lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginner to advanced, ensuring safety and skill development. Supervise the pool deck during lessons and open swim sessions, maintaining a vigilant watch over all participants to uphold safety standards. Enforce pool rules and behavior management policies to create a respectful and secure environment for children and adults alike. Support the planning and execution of special aquatic programs or events that promote physical activity and community engagement. Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to maintain cleanliness, organization of equipment, and adherence to health club or gym standards. Experience Prior swimming experience Proven ability to work with children Familiarity with swimming techniques, water safety protocols, and basic first aid procedures. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate students while maintaining a safe environment.
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
