Job Description

We are looking for Switchboard Engineer I and II responsible for Designing Low Voltage Switchboards and Panelboards. This role requires great attention to detail with a preference for self-starting mentality. All products must be designed using applicable safety standards & regulations (National Electrical Code, Underwriters Laboratories, etc.). Primary Job Responsibilities Design 3D Sheet Metal Parts With Flat Patterns Complete 3D Assemblies (150+ Item BOM) Create Wiring Diagrams Using PLCs, Breaker Accessories, Relays, Contactors, Power Supplies etc. Create & Understand 2D Front View, One-Line/Single-Line & Layout Drawings Using CAD Software Ensure Clear Communication Between Engineering, Manufacturing & Other Key Stakeholders Work In A Team Environment to Analyze Requirements From Clients & Develop Design Solutions Ensure Clear Communication With Suppliers/Vendors On As-Needed Basis Qualifications Bachelor's Degree of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Similar 3-8 Years and more Of Work Experience (Electro-Mechanical Industry Preferred) Proficiency In 2D & 3D CAD Software (Autodesk Suite preferred) Proficient With Microsoft Office Products Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills Preferred Qualifications Experience With UL891, UL67, UL508A or UL1558 Experience Reading/Understanding National Electric Code Experience Sizing Conductors & OCPDs Experience With Control Circuits & Logic We will provide the relocation assistance.
