Switcher Truck Driver

Job Summary:

The Switcher Truck Driver will report to the Shipping and Receiving Manager and will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of material from Technimark to Wellmark within the Asheboro campus using van trailers. All drivers are required to adhere to all Wellmark company policies and safety rules and stay in compliance with all DMV rules and regulations. Knowledge | Experience |

Skills:

Must have a very good driving and attendance record. Must be able to work well with others. Highschool diploma or GED required. CDL Class A license is required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include daily inspection of equipment, moving trailers to and from offsite storage lots as needed. Keep loaded trailers staged in Wellmark docks for production, including Hangerbales, non-woven material, scrap parts, gaylord boxes, scrap cardboard and pallet trailers, etc. Maintain empty trailers at Technimark for scrap removal daily. May be required to perform road driver duties and bulk haul duties.
