Job Description

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an entry level Mechanical Engineer to join the ICBM Minuteman III team, with a concentration in propulsion/battery systems. Duties include but are not limited to: Perform systems engineering and integration duties, logistical analysis, test and assessment, and other relevant engineering efforts required to support mature and proven weapon systems. Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, propulsion rocket engines, and solid stage motors. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines. #ASFS Required Education, Experience, & Skills Must have an ABET Accredited Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar. Candidates graduating in or prior to May 2025 will be considered 0 - 2 years of industry or military experience Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills ICBM experience, especially Minuteman III specific: Reentry, Guidance and Navigation, Inertial Measurement, Propulsion, Ordnance, and/or battery technology experience. ICBM Field Maintenance Depot Repair Risk management Configuration management Logistical Analysis Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint Familiarity with systems engineering processes Familiarity with technical data packages Experience in modeling and/or simulation software
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
$59023 - $100339 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
