Hours:
40 hours a week, sometime between the hours of 7 am to 6 pm
EST Duties :
Provide system/production support and monitoring for applications, batch cycles, releases, projects, implementations, installations, etc. Participate in work sessions for system support and problem resolution. 30% Perform/Support installation, configuration, administration, implementation, scheduling and/or tuning/modification of applications. Provide support for simple to moderate system/production performance concerns. Collaborate with various internal groups and external vendors to ensure all specifications are met and problems are resolved as they arise. 30% Monitor and report on scheduled batch and online applications for successful/unsuccessful execution. May run necessary system backups. Review and/or create documentation for accuracy, future problems, and company standards. 20% Perform testing responsibilities as needed. Review all abnormal results/issues from previous processing cycles and verify that they have been logged/resolved. 10% Communicate with applications on-call persons to repair applications that ended abnormally. May perform corrective actions whenever possible to fix applications that end abnormally and/or notify appropriate area for resolution. Consult with senior level peers on projects of greater complexity. 10% Participate in work sessions and walkthroughs for quality and production implementations, releases, data conversion projects and/or disaster recovery exercises. Day to Day Responsible for the upkeep and availability of both the hard-wired ethernet network and wireless network of the office. Responsible for all auxiliary and administrative systems, including email through Google, Google voice, Google GSuite, and more. Responsible for security of the network. Responsible for workstation management, workstation imaging, and general IT support of the physical office.
Team Name:
CDS DocFinity Working with CDS, primarily the DocFinity team, in the PA office. Responsible for the entire office, so must be ready to have your work trumped if someone needs you to 'fix their system'. Culture is a fast-paced moving technology firm, so must be able to adapt and learn new things.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Comprehends data storage techniques, basic database philosophy, database management, and simple programming techniques. Good understanding of the requirements for maintaining production systems and the effect of program changes. Understands how to use structured techniques in new program development. Good understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team. Pays attention to detail.
Required Software and Tools:
Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and/or development/productivity tools and their usage in the company.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.
Required Work Experience :
2 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming experience or other job related IT experience.
